Anogramma leptophylla, Jersey fern, annual fern - A small fern with 3-9 cm long fonds and fan-shaped leaflets that dies at the end of the growing season. Next season's growth arises from the tiny gamete-forming plant (gametophyte) that persists from year to year. Found in eastern areas from the Poor Knights to Dunedin.
